Pondering and simmering . . .
Learning circles and community. Tower of Power. I was an observer and a processor. We planned as a group and did the best we could - it was fun to observe other groups/ There were possibilities, hope, faith, and beauty. We fall in love with life. There are so many different perspectives. We were able to work together as a team within our community and problem solve to complete the tower. Self development - pursued by "only a few crusty and inspiring veterans." Writing down what you know and what you believe. I want to lead with my strengths. We should be in charge or our own PD. Who knows best what we crave or need? Us! What shape am I? I feel I am each shape because I can adapt to most anything. What do others need to know about me and my learning? Don't forget my me bag. My students and I can bring a "me bag" to share with the community. What do learners need? How do I know that I have learned something? What was the environment/conditions? Who was there? How did I feel?
Learning is absorbing information of those around you - conquering your fear and anxieties. Learning is a process!
Do I fall in to the classic or official category? Of course, my way is not the only way. It is okay to fall into the official category.
We will walk beside each other on this journey. We each see things through a different lens. Each have a different perspective.
I believe students must feel (at some point) like I do - confused and not understanding why not everyone sees as I do. Each of
us has a different perspective. These unique perspectives allow us to follow different paths and maybe a concept. We also
need to pay attention to all of the spaces - negative and positive.
The beginnings of learning as a researcher and the collection of data - leave a paper trail that supports your conclusion.
