The Learning Tree
So what? I can see a bigger picture - all of the commonalities - trust, different perspectives, finding their own learning, making their own choices about their learning. The teacher letting go . . . Exploring new learning on their own or discovering on their own.
Assessment - my own measurement of my students growth - many, many ways to measure this.
Grades - teachers find it difficult to get away from the grades.
How does the learning process connect with assessment? We can see students working on the skill problem and know if
they are mastering the skill or problem - it does not matter if they come up with the right answer or not - it matters
that they understand the process!
If you're not prepared to be wrong, you'll never come up with any idea!
